Fishing Charters

Do You Love to Fish OR Are You Looking for a Chartered Fishing Experience?

Umhlanga Ocean Charters sports a 19ft Yeld Cat Fishing Charter which is supported by 2X 80 HP Yamaha motors and is equipped with top of the range rods and reels from “The Kingfisher” to ensure your fishing experience is of the utmost quality.

Unlike other Fishing Charters, Umhlanga Ocean Charters chooses to limit the number of anglers aboard our vessel to 4. This ensures that our skippers can pay enough attention to each one of the anglers on board which aids those less experienced in fishing, teachers our guests a little bit more about fishing at sea and of course makes for a far greater chance of hooking that “Big Catch” for the first time.

All of our guest anglers are supplied with our high-quality equipment and tackle for your peace of mind and you can also select some of our artificial lure specialities like spinning, popping and drop shot on our trips. Your catch is yours to keep; however, to better ensure the future of our reefs, we do encourage “Tag and Release”.  There is no guarantee of catching fish but our skipper will do his best to ensure that the best efforts are made and that your outing with us is that of an exciting and memorable one.

Departure times will vary according to the weather, and we will do our best to take your own itinerary into consideration when planning your sea voyage.
